First day of the Old Computer Challenge. I've spent most of the day at work so I've been using new computers for that. For travel, I'm trying to reduce the amount I use my phone as it's more powerful than the limit. I've now booted up the old computer and the WiFi is failing to connect. Not sure why. I may have to reboot.
OK, it connects to my home WiFi now but not my phone. This will be a problem later in the week when I need internet away from home.
Also had issues with SSL - at some point I seem to have taken the package out of my onboot.lst and not noticed? Fixed now.
My Mastodon access script is getting SSL_ERROR_SYSCALL from cURL for some reason. Links is also failing to connect, giving timeouts and SSL Errors. Perhaps another reboot is needed?
Most things are working now, but the laptop still won't connect to my phone. But at least I should be able to upload this post now!
